This really hit the nail on the head. The balance of logical explanation and real experience was so powerful. There have been few- if any- training events that I've experienced that have had such a profound effect.

This course was a real eye and mind opener.
Global Head of Recruitment, Credit Suisse First Boston
This holistic course draws together research and established models to develop understanding and skills that are immediately applicable. It also very importantly supports an examination of values and aspirations. A collegial atmosphere is encouraged, and you should be prepared to participate and share, to support and be supported. A great opportunity for 'sharpening the saw', taking the long view, clarifying priorities and goals, reaffirming good intentions and establishing new habits. In summary, a well grounded, rich, supportive and practical course.
Senior lecturer, University of Cambridge
The workshop's focus is on achieving the right state of mind in order to become “super-achievers”. We were taught skills and techniques to control stress and to maintain focus on our goals and clarity of mind. The facilitator, Mary Sharpe, was extremely professional, helpful and friendly. We had a great opportunity for networking and discussing the issues of the workshop over lunch with the other participants in the beautiful setting of Lucy Cavendish College. Overall, it was very well organised and I couldn't possibly find any fault in the workshop.
I was sceptical at first and initially I felt out of place among CEOs and academic leaders. I would like to stress the workshop's intentions are all in exploring our minds and our way of thinking, and it helped me become aware of how negative thoughts can endanger our outcomes. I feel a strange new energy after having completed the course and I am fighting some behavioural routines I tend to fall into. I would recommend the course to anyone but it would be specifically helpful for overworked executives who need a more efficient approach to their workload. Overall, it was a very interesting experience.

Mary is a superb coach. She helped me focus on and face up to the decisions that had been going round and round in my head without issue. I slept well for the first time in months after just the first session.

There are many influences on my stress and happiness levels, not just work. I've been able to focus on some difficult issues and resolve them. I now have the tools to deal with them and make my life richer.
